Susanne began her meditation practice in the early 1990's. She has received training in the Himalayan Tradition of meditation through Sri Swami Rama's Himalayan Institute; she has studied Mindfullness meditation with Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharon Salzberg, Joseph Goldstein and Larry Rosenberg. As a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist healing and meditation, Susanne received training and transmissions from many respected teachers including: Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche, Tulku Thondup Rinpoche, Patrul Rinpoche and Master Liu.

Meditation is a way of transforming the mind. It is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned "thinking mind" into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness.
